How to Connect AOL Mail to Klearbox
An AOL app password gives Klearbox limited IMAP access to your mailbox — nothing more. Revoke it any time in AOL Account Security.

Sign in to your AOL account
Go to AOL Account Security: login.aol.com/account/security. Sign in if prompted.

Enable two-step verification if prompted
AOL may require two-step verification to be enabled before app passwords are available.

Find app passwords
Scroll to the app-password or external-app access section.

Generate a new app password
Click to generate a new app password. Name it Klearbox.

Copy the generated password
AOL shows the password once. Copy it immediately.

Enter it in Klearbox
In Klearbox, select "AOL Mail" as provider. Enter your full AOL email address and the app password.
Important security note
- • Never share your app password. Klearbox stores it encrypted. You can revoke it at any time in AOL Account Security.
