How to Connect Zoho Mail to Klearbox
A Zoho app password gives Klearbox limited IMAP access to your mailbox — nothing more. Revoke it any time in Zoho Account Security.
Enable IMAP access
Sign in at mail.zoho.com. Go to Settings → Mail Accounts → click your account → under IMAP Access, enable IMAP and save.
Open Zoho Account Security
Go to accounts.zoho.com → Security → Application Specific Passwords.
Generate an app password
Click "Generate New Password" and name it Klearbox.
Copy the password
Copy the generated app password immediately — it is shown only once.
Enter it in Klearbox
In Klearbox, select "Zoho Mail" as provider. Enter your Zoho email address and the app password.
Connect and verify
Click "Connect & verify". If you have multi-factor authentication enabled, the app password is required; without MFA, your regular Zoho password may also work.
Important security note
- • Revoke app passwords at any time in Zoho Account Security. Custom-domain Zoho accounts may use different IMAP servers — check your Zoho account settings if the connection fails.
IMAP and custom domains
IMAP must be enabled before generating an app password. This works for zohomail.com and custom domains hosted by Zoho.
